How Tungsten Network’s e-invoicing solution helped Henkel
Henkel is a leading chemical and consumer goods company who were looking to increase levels of back-office automation to deliver increased efficiency while meeting international tax compliance standards.
Henkel was manually processing 1.25 million paper invoices annually. Tungsten Network successfully onboarded suppliers that represented 72% of the invoice volume initially in scope. This proved to be a stepping stone, as Henkel looks to roll out e-invoicing on a global scale in order to increase automation levels, reduce workloads and drive down cost.
“We recognised that electronic invoicing could be a complementary way of increasing levels of automation. Many of our suppliers were already on the Tungsten Network platform, which helped us validate the technical solution.” – Jens Fischer, Global Process Manager – Purchase to Pay, Henkel
